OK ... We're crazy, we recognize that!

We're roughly 8 weeks out from welcoming Sara into our lives and Erin and I made sure that her joining us was just one of the life-changing moments we would have in 2008.

We're currently under contract to buy a new home (Real Estate propaganda for this very house by clicking here) just a shade before Sara's expected arrival.

We didn't anticipate this to happen, but found a house that had many of the things we've been looking for in our "next house." We'd actually discussed building for the last couple years and finding one that was 70% completed and had all the key assets made the decision both easier and cost effective for us.

The new house is just a driver and a 3-wood (OK, really six miles) from our current house, which means all our local friends will be close by. Sara will have plenty of room to grow into the house and Sage will still have a nice sized yard to hang out in. Lola? Well, she's still going to have an area to do laps and be able to watch birds - thus, she should be happy.

As far as the timing, it's going to be crazy. Our current house sold in three weeks of being on the market (faster than anything in our 'hood right now) and the new home buyers need to move in June 10. This means our little family, in its budding state, will be in temporary housing for roughly three weeks while our house is being completed. We'll then move in (Erin will not be allowed to lift a box) and await Sara's arrival. We can't wait to put "100 Noble Court" as her address on her birth certificate.

With stress levels high, we keep reminding each other that we're truly blessed and that all these stress builders are some of the greatest things that will happen to us.
