Good News ... we won't be homeless

Sometimes God has ways of working things out for you. We believe strongly that this was the case when we showed up to church Sunday and found an ad in the bulletin noting the church is trying to rent its parsonage. Ironically, our friends the Caudills had mentioned that as an option a few days prior. We investigated to learn that the timing will work out well for us to "crash" there for three weeks while we wait for our new house to be completed. That's good news.

We had our bi-weekly checkup today and it sort of shocked us a little as the doctor clearly noted that things are changing in Erin's body - headed towards delivery. We're hoping Sara opts to drag her feet and stay the term in Erin's belly. That said, we both recognize that she'll come when she comes. The doctor did mention that we should do everything humanly possible to prolong any labor in the next couple weeks, but after that they would not prolong it.

Then, as my buddy Gregor says, "The safety's off." (You gun enthusiasts should get that)

Okay, I totally know what safety off means (my dad trained us girls in target shooting!) We'll be hoping you guys have a safe few weeks -- be well! Jen & Ryan
